JOURNEY THROUGH TIME - A TOUR THROUGH THE ROADS OF EASTERN OREGON
MAY 14 - 17, 2026
Start your engines — FOR A JOURNEY THROUGH TIME on the roads of Eastern Oregon for four days and 3 nights, May 14-17, 2026. Join your fellow Greater Columbia Region - PCA Porsche friends for four unforgettable days of driving, dining, and discovery of wonderful roads and sights of Eastern Oregon. Included are an Historic Hotel, a Gold Dredge, Mountain Roads and the Painted Hills of the John Day Fossil Beds capped off by DINNER on the banks of The Columbia River in Hood River. The roads on which we will travel are some of the best Porsche driving roads in Eastern Oregon.
LEAVE THURSDAY MAY 14 FROM THE TRI-CITIES (the Pasco Airport Red Lion is only the start of the tour, not the tour location).
We will drive the back roads over Tollgate Pass.
Lunch at will be at Tollgate Crossing on Tollgate Pass (on your own)
Then on back roads to Baker City, Oregon. There is a group dinner (included) at the hotel in Baker City in the evening.
FRIDAY MAY 15TH
Breakfast at the hotel or wherever you choose (on your own)
Drive to Sumpter and tour the Historic Sumpter Valley Gold Dredge
Then onward to Prairie City, Oregon for lunch (on your own)
Then on paved mountain roads to Seneca, Oregon and down the spectacular winding road to John Day, Oregon. We will spend the night in John Day. All meals in John Day are on your own..
SATURDAY MAY 16TH
Breakfast on your own in John Day.
Then drive through the John Day Fossil Beds and Painted Hills on some of the best roads yet on our way to Hood River
Lunch TBD (on your own).
Lodging is in Hood River.
There will be a Banquet Dinner Finale and door prizes at the hotel in Hood River (included)
SUNDAY MAY 17TH
Breakfast on your own and leave at your leisure
Travel home, choices of routes available
Wine Tasting at Maryhill Winery for those interested
Home, Home at last back in the Tri-Cities!
Your registration fee includes all the tour costs (not including your hotel costs), all the included dinners and chances to win some awesome door prizes at the final dinner in Hood River. Please arrive at the start point on Thursday with your Porsche prepared for 4 days of driving, with a full tank of fuel and everything you need for a 3 night trip.

- Please register before you book your hotels. You will be sent the hotel information as part of your registration confirmation.
- Cancellations must be made before April 13, 2026 on MotorsportReg.com. Please contact Erik Pielstick or Melanee Johnson before you cancel. Because we have to prearrange the number of meals, THERE WILL BE NO REFUNDS AFTER THIS DATE.
- Age Restriction: All attendees must be 21 to participate in this event.
- Registration: Each person must register and pay the entry fee.
- Waiver signing for Adult participants and attendees: All drivers and passengers must sign the Liability Waiver at the start point on Thursday..
- Driver's license restrictions: For this event, all drivers must be at least 21 years old and in possession of a valid US driver's license at the time of the Tour. A driving permit is not acceptable.
- Registering for Passengers: Please make sure to include the names of any passengers and guests riding with you in the space provided during registration.
